The LEAD43 Summer Leadership Academy is the foundation's flagship program, providing middle and high school students with an immersive leadership experience that combines education, mentorship, career exploration, and civic engagement.
During this week-long academy, students participate in hands-on learning experiences with professionals from law enforcement, fire service, healthcare, higher education, industry, environmental stewardship, local government, and business. Participants strengthen leadership skills, explore career pathways, develop communication and teamwork abilities, and gain a deeper understanding of how community leaders work together to improve Southeast Texas.

Sunday Funday is a free, family-centered community event that connects residents with local organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, businesses, nonprofit agencies, and community resources.
Families enjoy food, entertainment, youth activities, health and wellness information, educational exhibits, community services, and interactive experiences while building meaningful relationships with organizations serving Southeast Texas.
The event removes financial barriers by offering free admission and activities, ensuring families from all backgrounds can participate
The Leadership Speaker Series introduces youth and emerging leaders to accomplished professionals from government, education, healthcare, business, entrepreneurship, public safety, and nonprofit leadership.
Participants gain practical knowledge about leadership, education, career planning, financial responsibility, resilience, and community service while engaging directly with experienced professionals who serve as mentors and role models
